About me

While a picture might be worth a thousand words, a soundscape is worth a thousand pictures.

Storytelling through words and music is both my profession and my passion. I collaborate with filmmakers, theatre creators, and event producers to help them discover their unique sonic identity, blending the power of sound with the impact of visual storytelling.

As a composer, I live and work in Cleethorpes, a seaside town in my home county of Lincolnshire, England

FRANK'S CLOSET

Composer, Book and Lyrics

My musical show, Frank's Closet, was staged twice at Hoxton Hall, London, in 2009. At the time, my studio was right next door to this magical, unrestored Victorian music hall, and the wonderful ladies who ran it were also my landladies. The show was inspired by my love of diva worship, my personal take on 'gay culture' and marriage, and my deep affection for the British Music Hall tradition. Recently, Frank's Closet has been enjoying a revival. Follow the show: Instagram.

Commercials + Theatre + Choirs

I love working with moving images and people who can dance, and can sing or not! There's something profoundly human about bringing people together to sing and dance in time to music. The magic lies in the co-creation process, often more so than in the final recording. The journey is always the most important part.

New River Cantata

I composed the New River Cantata to celebrate the 400th anniversary of an artificial waterway in England, which was opened in 1613 to supply London with fresh drinking water from Chadwell and Amwell Springs near Ware, Hertfordshire. The choir, made up of local residents, was supported by funding from Arts Council England and recorded at Angel Studios in London.
